About The Crown Study

Researchers are studying an investigational injectable HIV treatment for teens to see how effective it may be compared to oral ART (pills). 

What’s involved? 

  • An onsite visit to see if you qualify for the clinical trial 
  • The injections are given every 2 months. You will need some additional tests to be sure that you qualify. The study doctor will review these with you.
  • Qualified participants may receive compensation for their time and travel.*

*Compensation varies and may be provided to eligible participants upon completion of study activities.
