- Using a study-provided smartwatch and smartphone during the at-home study period.
- Completing study app surveys and tasks.

What is the Arthur Study?
The Arthur study is a health and technology research study. It looks at how information from a smartwatch and smartphone may relate to heart health and other health measures from standard tests.
Is this a drug study?
No. This is not a drug study. You will not take a study drug. This study collects information from study devices and health tests.
Is this medical care?
No. This study is for research only. It does not replace regular doctor visits. The study team is not your healthcare team and will not watch your device data to look for health problems.
How long will the study last?
Participation will last between 12-20 weeks, or around 3-5 months.
What will participants have to do?
Participants will be asked to use a study smartphone and smartwatch, complete blood and urine tests, answer study surveys and tasks, and attend study visits and heart health tests if they qualify.
What compensation is available?
Qualified participants who complete study activities will be paid for completed study activities. Full study participation includes up to $850 and a new Apple Watch.
Can I stop participating?
Yes. Taking part is your choice. You may say no, stop, or leave the study at any time. This will not affect your regular medical care.
